Key West International is conveniently located right in Key West, making it the closest option for your travels. Direct flights into Key West are available from a number of locations, including Newark, Philadelphia, Virginia and Miami. Once you land, it’s a 5-10 minute Uber or Lyft to most hotels and rentals.
Miami International Airport (MIA) is the second closest airport to Key West. If you choose to fly into MIA, please note that you will need to rent a care for the drive to key west. The journey is 159 miles and typically takes about 3.5 hours.

Key West is four miles long and two miles wide, so we DO NOT recommend renting a car unless you are driving from other areas of Florida. Parking is limited and usually not necessary.
Ubers and Lyfts are readily available in all locations of Key West and can be found at all hours of the day.
Golf carts and scooters are a fun alternative and can be rented from several spots around the island. Please note with golf carts you will still have to pay for parking.
